(Retired)
Probate is the
legal process by which a decedent's last will and testament is
proved to be valid and by which a representative is appointed by
the Court to administer the estate.
Estate
Administration is the process of collecting, accounting for and
distributing a decedent's debts and estate taxes, if any.
This process follows immediately after probate for decedent's
with wills but may also be necessary for those dying without a
will.
It is so
important to consult with a firm with expertise in this area of
the law to insure that the estate is settled correctly and
speedily.
